HYPNOBIRTHING

“Hypnobirthing enables pregnant women and their partners to be calm, confident and in control during child birth” (Flood 2012)

Birth is often associated with fear and negativity, sometimes due to TV and media but also often others like to tell you of their negative birth experiences. This can increase worry, stress and anxiety which can have a negative impact on your pregnancy, labour and birth and consequently cause you to dread your birth experience instead of looking forward to it.

The hypnobirthing I teach is realistic and helps you release those fears. It gives you the tools to use such as breathing, relaxation and visualisation to help you achieve positive birth experience. It enables you to understand what is happening to your body and connect with it.

Releasing fear is fundamental to the success of hypnobirthing. Even if your birth does not go to plan or you are having a planned caesarean section, it will help you to make positive choices during your birthing process. It will enable you to feel CALM, CONFIDENT and in CONTROL.

Your body is designed to give birth efficiently and comfortably, hypnobirthing will help you facilitate this process. It also has a positive effect on the baby, it will give him or her the best start in life.

The hypnobirthing classes are offered on an individual basis and take place in the comfort of your own home. This makes the sessions flexible, personal  and can be arranged to suit your availability.

The course is held over 2 separate sessions, they can be held over weekends,  daytimes, evenings or a combination of either.
The combined cost is £198.

The course can also be held as a one off 3 hour session which focuses on  hypnobirthing only and doesn’t include the antenatal information. The cost is £99.

Group sessions can be arranged on demand.
